Questions I Foresee People Asking
What’s the difference between the Cheap Records and Volver’s regular records?
These record are much more common or less sought after and priced accordingly.
I meant condition-wise.
Nothing. These records go through the same quality control that my normal records do. The price has nothing to do with the condition.
Are these records guaranteed like your other records?
Can I get a discount if I buy a lot?
Any difference in the service-end of the Cheap Records?
Yes. Records from my normal inventory come with a brand new, clear protective outer sleeve and an anti-static inner sleeve. The Cheap Records do not have these additions. I also do not vacuum clean these records, which I do with some of my normal inventory.
What pressings are these?
Most are Canadian or US pressings — basically, whatever the most common pressing of that particular title… that’s what you’re getting. Occasionally a Euro press will sneak in or a contemporary pressing, and sometimes a 180g. If the pressing is important to you on a particular record, don’t shop in the Cheap Records section. That’s not what this is about.
How are the bundles priced?
Whim. And qty on hand.
Can you let me know the next time you’re going to post such-and-such record or bundle?
When are new records posted to the Cheap Records section?
I’ll post a new batch every Sunday afternoon between 3:00 and 3:15 PM. New records will appear at the top of the page. You can also use the Tab at the top of the record list to view the records alphabetically by FIRST name or have them sorted randomly.
Does this mean Record Bundles and records priced $20 and under will no longer appear on the regular records page?
Yes, that’s what it means.
How come I can’t see images of the vinyl or the back covers?
It’s not cost-effective for me to photo these records in such detail.
You used to have a copy of a record I wanted listed here but now I don’t see it.
Cheap Records are removed from this page when they’re sold. There is no Sold Gallery for cheap records.
Okay, I’ve read all the questions. Take me back to the records.
