Unsure of the year of this pressing but it’s UK (“Made in England” on the label) and probably 2000s. The packaging matches the original : unlaminated linen-effect sleeve + light card inner liner, printed 3-color: Olive, Burgundy & half-tone Black – both with track notes & credits.
All other represses I’ve seen have simpler inner sleeves, usually in yellowy-orange or white.
Each side has a few visible marks, but the record plays without skips or other nonsense. There is a tiny bit of crackle between the tracks but everything’s drowned when the music plays as it’s a pretty loud record. Punchy sound. Very nice copy overall.
I saw the Pixies twice back in the day, once with one-man-band My Dad Is Dead opening and once with Pere Ubu. Both times the opener absolutely mopped the floor with them. One of the worst live bands I’ve ever seen, but man they made some great records.
