is an independent biannual travel and style magazine. Each issue focuses on a select few destinations, with stories and interviews on design, art, and style.


Each destination the magazine features is visited and personally vetted by the founders.

Spring / Summer 2020

In their Spring / Summer 2020 issue Cereal looks toward KOREA.

They explore the architecture of Itami Jun, the photography of Koo Bohnchang, and the art of Park Seo-Bo.

They discuss food and fashion with Eunjo Park & David Chang in New York, and with Rejina Pyo & Jordan Bourke in London. They visit designer Teo Yang at his hanok in Seoul, and artist John Zabawa at his LA home and studio. They share their city guide to Seoul, and a fashion edit of both international and Korean designers.

They also visit Charlotte Perriand’s Méribel chalet with Aēsop, and the Northern Irish coast with JAMESPLUMB studio for their exhibition, ‘Silent Light’.

Their collection of essays and poetry delves further into our theme of Korean culture, both in Korea and beyond.

Autum / Winter 2019

In their AW 2019 issue, Cereal delves into the subject of LEGACY. The cover of Volume 18 features Rupi Kaur, who discusses how her heritage has shaped her own burgeoning legacy as a poet and performer.

The issue also includes interviews with creative director Jonathan Anderson, and the team behind Atelier Vime. They celebrate the artistic legacies of Joan Miró, Eduardo Chillida, and Fan Ho; the architecture of Carlo Scarpa’s Brion Tomb; and the design of Gio Ponti’s iconic hotel, Parco dei Principi.

In their travel pages, they encounter the wilderness of Kruger National Park, South Africa with Singita; and take in the frescos and orange groves of Palazzo Daniele in Puglia, Italy.

They further explore the theme of legacy through essays and poetry, and present an autumn fashion edit at Kettle’s Yard.
